Parker AC Servo Motor Repair
Repairing Parker AC servo motors requires a deep understanding of their sophisticated feedback systems and capabilities. When your motor arrives at the Servotech facility, our experienced technicians will perform in-depth testing to evaluate the integrity of the resolver or encoder signals, check winding insulation resistance, and confirm phase balance under load.
Parker AC servo motors often operate in demanding environments, leading to heat damage, contamination, and vibration-related wear. Servotech will inspect, clean, and restore all electrical and mechanical components, ensuring precise alignment and calibration. Finally, a critical part of our Parker servo repair is testing on a factory-specific drive to ensure proper performance once it’s reinstalled.
Parker DC Servo Motor Repair
DC motors from Parker feature durable construction but still require careful testing and meticulous repair to maintain optimal performance. The Parker servo motor repair process includes disassembling the motor to inspect brushes, commutators, and armature windings.
Our technicians will clean and repair (or replace) all parts, ensuring proper brush spring tension and correcting any commutator scoring or imbalance. Our final testing process ensures precise speed and torque control.
A common challenge with Parker DC motors is excessive carbon buildup or commutator arcing, both of which can impact efficiency and lifespan. Servotech uses specialized tools and procedures to fully refurbish each motor to Parker’s original specifications, returning it to you in good-as-new condition.
In addition to Parker servo motor repair services, Servotech refurbishes servo and spindle motors from over 100 manufacturers. View all brands we service ›
