A: Our office is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday. After hours, requests can always be sent to info@servotechusa.com. 

A: While we do need to have the motor in house to provide a firm quote, we can typically give you a ballpark or base price over the phone. Call our expert staff at 860-632-0164 and have your motor’s model number handy. 

A: Our standard lead time is 5 business days, if all parts are in stock. If your machine is down, you may consider our Rapid Response service for an additional 15% of the cost, for a 48 hour turnaround. Our in-house machine shop and extensive inventory of replacement parts help ensure your motor will be repaired as quickly as possible. 

A: Not necessarily. As long as we can obtain the necessary documentation and parts, we are able to work on any servo motor. 

A: We offer a free evaluation. You just take care of sending it in to us, and we will fully evaluate your motor and get you a quote. 

A: Sometimes, there is so much wrong with a motor that it is simply not economical to repair. In this circumstance, we will offer a quote for a replacement motor when possible. 

Should you decline the repair, there are 3 options: 

  1. Scrap the motor at our facility at no charge
  2. Return the motor parts to you in it’s disassembled state at no charge 
  3. Re-assemble the motor without repairs for a $175.00 fee

A: Once we receive the motor, the evaluation usually takes 1-2 days. Rapid Response jobs are prioritized in order to get you a quote as soon as possible. 

A: Our staff may be able to help you determine whether or not the motor is the problem on the phone. If you send in your motor and we don’t find anything wrong with it, our technicians will reach out to you to discuss the issues you are having, and decide if a PM rebuild is a good option. 

A: A PM rebuild – or preventative maintenance rebuild – is when a motor has been in service for quite some time and does not have any significant problems, but we will disassemble, clean and replace standard parts such as bearings and seals. 

A: Yes. We offer a one year in-service warranty on motor refurbishments. This means the warranty period begins the day your motor is installed. Click to read more!

A: Yes. Our services do not end once your motor is repaired. Our technicians are available to assist with any troubleshooting or issues you may have during or after installation. 

A: We may be able to offer a discount for repairing multiples of the same motor. Speak to our staff to find out. 

A: Yes. We have many customers throughout and outside of the United States. 

A: Send the replacement parts in with the motor. Our technicians will determine if they are suitable to be used in the refurbishment. 

A: Once we receive approval of the quote, our team will get to work on your motor. When the repairs are near completion, we will reach out to you to confirm billing and shipping information. We accept checks and all major credit cards. If you have not previously established an account, payment is required prior to shipping the motor back to you.

A: Contact us at accounting@servotechusa.com to request an application for net 30 payment terms. The process can take 2-3 weeks to complete. If you are a new customer, we still require the first job to be paid in full prior to shipping the motor back.
